Wow! After seeing the presentation and tasting the quality of her food as a guest at another event, I knew that I needed to hire Jess for our year end gala - her talents needed to be shared! Hawaii Island Picnics & Provisions created a stunning 12-foot grazing table for our BMW customer appreciation gala and it was a huge hit. Our customers couldn’t stop raving about the food and presentation, not only during the event but in the days and weeks that followed. As an event coordinator, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing food at numerous weddings and private galas…the flavors and style presented by Jess and her team was outstanding! a sumptuous culinary spread
The Galleries at Kahilu Theatre’s season opening reception featured a sumptuous culinary spread (an artistic exhibition of its own) exquisitely created by Hawaii Island Picnics and Provisions. Long Hawaiian hardwood platters covered with mounds of the most delicious provisions. Evocative little placards garnished each delectable offering and the presentation invited guests to create their own morsels from the finest and freshest ingredients. As the night progressed, visitors and Big Island artists gathered around the boards to talk about the art and to compare notes about the edible concoctions they were creating. Previous strangers interacted animatedly with each other, pointing out creative and exciting ways to combine flavors and textures. The evening was hugely successful in large part due to the delicious, creative, beautifully-presented, and exactingly detailed professionalism of Hawaii Island Picnics and Provisions.
